Well at about £400 a pop something like that has to be special enough that I'll wear it till it practically drops off me in tatters. And I can't think of any excuses for wearing a dress like that down the pub! Maybe my style is just more casual but Anna just didn't inspire me. I love glamour... more…

Oh my God! You are an iconoclast, Sarah. To come up with the idea that thin models are because fashion designers are lazy is utter genius. You've GOT TO get that into the zeitgeist!
Even better - thin models are a way of getting around a lack of talent.
Look back to the 1940s and 50s and designers had to use skill and tale more…

*Blush* I quite like it. But then I'm a dippy hippy chick. Some of the stuff looks like it's straight out of Jackie magazine circa 1972.
Would I wear it, though? That's a different question! more…

You're right.
Anna Scholz used to be zippy but elegant. Now her work's often wince-making, and worse -- cheap-looking. more…

I say, fair.
Horrid - the cut of the clothes as well as the patters.
It's 2009, for fuck sake, can she not come up with anything more original or interesting? more…

Amanda - have you tried looking at Oli, Simply Be or maybe on 'Know my Size'? They do have ranges of clothes for younger women and I get a lot of stuff from Simply Be especially.
Another good place for up to a 22 is Dorothy Perkins. Most of their range is available up to a 22 and it's cheap(ish) cheerful stuff that is usually on trend more…

These shops think us curvier girls don't want to look stylish! The clothes are designed by skinny girls who don't have a clue about what we are looking for!
I'm on the hunt at the min for some nice holiday clothes but everything I come across in my size are things my grandmother would wear not me aged 23! I hate having to dress older more…

I am forced to shop at evans because of my size (22-24) but they really do not understand how us curvy girls want to dress. They think we all want to wear huge tents or shirts all the time. I'm 23 and I feel like I can't dress my age because of my size! Evans are not helping this either :( more…

The only thng that would give anyone any shape would be the denim pencil skirt - but not being a heels and tights kind of girl would struggle to wear it - boots maybe???
Sorry the leggings I thought they were put in as a joke, however the stained glass prom dress is just lovely. more…

I was disappointed too. Love the concept and am a Beth Ditto fan, but there isn't anything there that I would actually wear. I'd kinda given up on Evans anyway and this hasn't really tempted me back.
Have found some nice but pretty expensive stuff on Box 2 recently - worth a look (sizes 12 -?30, order online)
I'm a fan of more…

I agree with you on some aspects, I brought a number of the pieces and love them, and get complemented on them. The crop black jacket is great, perfect for the confused weather we are having. I also got the stainglass prom dress which I love, and also the face jumper which is lovely, but not for the summer, great for sparkling up the winter.

No you're not being harsh. I agree. Spotty leggings would look hideous on anyone, any size!
I think most of Evans clothes are pretty shapeless. Even though I'm a size 16 on top I like t-shirts to be fairly fitted, not the large 'hide your flab' baggy things that Evans sells. more…

Got a catalogue in the post this morning that has all the sizes separated by the different prices and as much as I loved the clothes in it I refuse to pay £2-4 more for a skirt than my sister would. It's completely unfair how they can get away with this price hike all for maybe an ince or so extra material.
At Christmas I bought my bro more…

I know what you mean about the cartoon T-shirts. I did buy a cute strapless dresss there last year but that was about it recently. Evans are the same with their cartoon & slogan tees. Am I the only one who thinks they are really tacky? more…

I hadn't noticed this! I knew it happened in other shops but never though New Look would.
I always go and have a look at the inspire range but don't buy much. I think it takes the piss out of larger girls. It's all cartoon character t shirts and really impractical flimsy items and horrible bulky hoodies. Bleugh.
